About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing team at the heart of one of the UK’s most critical infrastructure projects — the M25. As a Business Policy & Information Analyst, you’ll play a key role in shaping the way we operate, influencing strategic initiatives, and driving meaningful change across our business.
With 15 years remaining on this landmark 30-year contract, this role offers not only professional challenge and variety, but also long-term career stability. You’ll be part of Connect Plus Services (CPS) – a joint venture between Balfour Beatty, AtkinsRéalis, and Egis – supporting the operation and maintenance of the M25, the busiest motorway network in the country.
This role sits within our Business Planning & Performance team, giving you the opportunity to contribute to the development of the business plan, policy frameworks, governance models, and performance insights through powerful BI reporting. You’ll collaborate across teams, engage with high-impact projects, and develop solutions that truly make a difference.

What You’ll Be Doing
In this exciting and dynamic role, you’ll be at the heart of meaningful change within one of the UK’s most vital infrastructure projects. Working closely with the Head of Business Planning & Performance and colleagues across the business, you’ll support a programme of improvements designed to strengthen how we operate and deliver.
You’ll help shape and deliver the CPS Business Plan, policies, and governance frameworks – bringing them to life through collaborative workshops, scenario testing, and clear role definitions. Your work will directly contribute to greater alignment, accountability, and performance across our teams.
You’ll also play a key part in designing and developing our business information dashboards using Power BI, helping to simplify complex data into clear, visual insights that drive smart decision-making. From internal reporting metrics to streamlined governance meeting tools, your work will support how we measure success and respond to challenges.

Essential skills and experience:

A graduate degree or equivalent experience with strong analytical and reporting skills.

Experience developing policies, processes, or technical reports.

Skilled in using Power BI or similar tools to turn data into clear business insights.

Good understanding of infrastructure or operations and maintenance environments.

Excellent organisation and time management abilities.

Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Location:
This is a hybrid role designed to fully maximize team collaboration on the project, we offer flexible working where you will typically be working from your base CPS office, Leatherhead, Dartford or South Mimms up to three days per week and two days from home.
