What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of delivering projects that make a real difference to the UK’s strategic road network. You will:
- Build strong collaborative relationships with project teams and key stakeholders—both internal and external—ensuring shared understanding of objectives, reviewing performance, and working together to find solutions.
- Champion compliance and clarity, supporting adherence to the DBFO contract, defining roles and responsibilities, managing risks and issues promptly, and maintaining accurate records including change management.
- Shape and implement project plans, ensuring activities are well-organised, properly resourced, and aligned to deliver successful outcomes.
- Support projects through their full lifecycle, from feasibility and design to construction, contributing to investment proposals that drive value for our clients.
- Develop robust cost profiles, identifying key risks and resource requirements to keep projects on track.
- Proactively manage risks and constraints, escalating where necessary and implementing practical solutions to overcome challenges.
- Work closely with Framework Contractors and Designers, setting clear expectations for health and safety, time, and cost performance, and taking action where needed to ensure success.
- Drive sustainability initiatives, supporting our commitment to net zero and biodiversity net gain.
- Collaborate with construction and supervision teams, ensuring permits, certificates, and site reporting are managed accurately and efficiently.

- Experience managing project plans, including detailed stage plans with contractors, designers, and internal partners.

Location:
This is a hybrid role designed to fully maximize team collaboration on the project, we offer flexible working where you will typically be working from your base CPS office, Leatherhead, Dartford or South Mimms up to three days per week and two days from home.
