With just under 15 years remaining on this major contract, this role offers the rare combination of long‑term stability, technical challenge and genuine career growth.
As part of Connect Plus Services (CPS)—the Joint Venture responsible for operating, maintaining and continually improving the M25—you will contribute to the safety, performance and future resilience of a network that keeps our capital moving. From major tunnels to complex structures, the M25 presents a dynamic engineering environment where no two days are the same.
This is an exciting opportunity to influence high‑profile design and renewal projects, drive innovation, work with industry specialists and develop your expertise within a supportive and forward‑thinking team. What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that Mechanical and Electrical engineering solutions across the M25 are safe, compliant and fit for the future. You will work collaboratively with designers, consultants, contractors, National Highways and internal teams to develop compliant, innovative and buildable solutions. From concept through to construction, you’ll help shape projects that directly enhance the performance of the network.
Your work will include coordinating multidisciplinary designs in complex environments such as tunnels, ensuring integration across systems and disciplines. You will also support CPS in developing long‑term renewal strategies, improving design processes and driving continual improvement across our engineering activities.
This is a hands‑on, influential role where your leadership, technical insight and problem‑solving skills will help deliver projects that make a real difference to millions of road users.
