About the Role

Balfour Beatty is looking for a Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Administrator to join our Highways Connect Plus Services team.

You will take ownership of the collation, maintenance and reporting of HSW‑related data, and provide timely, accurate administrative support to the HSW team.
This role can be based at Dartford, Leatherhead or South Mimms, with site offices located across the M25 network.

Connect Plus Services (CPS) brings together the combined strengths of our parent companies — Balfour Beatty, Atkins, and Egis Road Operation UK. With around 600 people across eight locations on the M25 network, we work 24/7 to manage operations, deliver routine maintenance and support the long‑term asset requirements of the M25.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting and producing collateral and reports for the HS&W teams and UK projects/offices.
  • Monthly and weekly data reporting.
  • Ownership of project HSW governance.
  • Building and developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring incident reports, learning and good practice are effectively communicated across the business.
  • Recording all Near Miss Cards and tracking close‑out actions.
  • Regular communication with key stakeholders to promote engagement.
  • Assisting in identifying HS&W training needs, collating training records and reporting performance.
  • Supporting the planning and delivery of events.
  • Producing slide packs for Senior Leadership Team (SLT) meetings.
  • Providing administrative support for meetings.

  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident IT skills, including Excel, PowerPoint and internal data management systems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience providing administrative support.
  • High level of accuracy and organisation.
  • Self‑motivated and proactive.
  • Able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • A strong team player.
