About the Role

Are you ready to take your next step into a role that combines long-term stability with real opportunity for growth? As a Maintenance Supervisor on the M25 network, you’ll be at the heart of a major infrastructure project with 15 years of planned work still ahead—offering you both security and the chance to make a lasting impact.

This is more than a job—it’s a career path full of purpose, excitement, and continuous development. You’ll lead a dedicated team to deliver essential maintenance across a high-profile stretch of the M25, ensuring the reliability and safety of one of the UK’s busiest motorways. From managing operatives and subcontractors to overseeing vital assets such as pavements, barriers, and signage, your role will be central to keeping this key route moving.

You’ll thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same—planning works, identifying and solving defects, briefing teams, and driving forward improvements that make a real difference. With a clear focus on safety, innovation, and excellence, you’ll help shape the future of the network while developing your own leadership capabilities.

Join us and be part of a team that’s not only maintaining a critical piece of national infrastructure but also building a stable and rewarding future—for yourself, your team, and millions of road users.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in keeping the M25 running smoothly, safely, and sustainably—day in and day out. You’ll lead with purpose, ensuring every shift brings progress, every challenge becomes an opportunity, and every team member feels supported to succeed.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Leading with impact: Oversee maintenance works with confidence, from planning and preparation through to delivery and debrief. You’ll supervise both in-house teams and subcontractors, ensuring everyone has the information, tools, and support they need.

  • Keeping safety at the heart of all you do: Champion a Zero Harm culture by identifying and managing risks, raising awareness, and leading by example. You’ll ensure all activities meet high safety and compliance standards.

  • Planning for today—and tomorrow: Conduct routine scouting, prepare permits, and help shape an accurate and achievable Annual Maintenance Plan. Your foresight will help keep the network reliable for years to come.

  • Communicating clearly and effectively: Deliver briefings and debriefs that inform and inspire, provide constructive feedback, and keep communication flowing across teams.

  • Empowering your team: Manage staffing, performance, and development, creating a supportive environment where everyone feels encouraged to grow.

  • Driving improvement: Embrace innovation, champion cost-efficiency, and explore smarter, more sustainable ways of working.

  • Making a difference: Help maintain the UK’s busiest motorway while contributing to a project with 15 years of planned activity ahead—offering you genuine long-term career security and growth.
