We are now looking for a dedicated System Administrator to take responsibility for the Brightly Confirm asset management system, which plays a key role in managing the M25 Strategic Road Network. This exciting opportunity involves supporting day-to-day system operations, routine maintenance management, asset tracking, and ensuring overall operational efficiency. You’ll work closely with IT, highways maintenance teams, and external stakeholders to optimise performance, resolve issues, and contribute to long-term improvements.

This role can be based at our Dartford, Leatherhead, or South Mimms office, offering flexibility and a supportive working environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a System Administrator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of the Brightly Confirm asset management system, a key tool in maintaining the M25 Strategic Road Network. Your work will directly contribute to safer roads, more efficient maintenance, and stronger collaboration across teams.
You’ll be trusted to:

Administer the system to ensure it is fully functional, regularly maintained, and operating efficiently

Provide technical support and training to users across departments, empowering teams to make the most of the system

Maintain high data standards, ensuring all records—including assets, inspections, and work orders—are accurate and compliant

Configure and customise system settings, workflows, and reporting tools to meet evolving operational needs

Identify and implement process improvements that streamline routine maintenance and asset management

Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and National Highways to ensure alignment with strategic goals

Analyse data and performance, helping the organisation make smarter, more informed decisions

Who We’re Looking For – Key Requirements

Essential:

Proven experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role, managing Brightly Confirm or equivalent asset/routine maintenance systems

Good understanding of highways maintenance and asset management principles

Proficiency in SQL, database management, and system configuration

Experience with GIS mapping tools, APIs, and system integration

Confident in analysing data, generating reports, and streamlining system workflows

Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on approach

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Knowledge of IT security, data protection, and compliance frameworks
Desirable:

Experience in highways, transportation, or infrastructure sectors

Familiarity with cloud-based systems and mobile workforce solutions

IT certifications (e.g. ITIL, Microsoft, SQL) are a plus

This is a hybrid role designed to fully maximize team collaboration on the project, we offer flexible working where you will typically be working from your base CPS office, Leatherhead, Dartford or South Mimms up to three days per week and two days from home.
