Blog: Building Climate Awareness at CPS – Climate FRESK Workshop

Recently, our Environment & Sustainability team took part in a Climate FRESK Workshop - an interactive and collaborative session designed to deepen understanding of the science behind climate change and its far-reaching impacts.

Through dynamic teamwork and thoughtful discussion, we explored the complex links between human activity, environmental challenges, and the pathways toward a more sustainable future. The workshop encouraged reflection, sparked ideas, and reinforced the importance of collective action in addressing climate change.

In the industry, where carbon intensity is high and environmental impact is significant, sessions like this are especially vital. Climate awareness empowers us to:

  • Anticipate evolving industry challenges and regulatory landscapes
  • Identify innovative, sustainable approaches to design and delivery
  • Strengthen our culture of responsibility and shared commitment

Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed their insights. Initiatives like Climate FRESK help embed sustainability into the way we work - not just as a goal, but as a mindset.

Looking ahead, we are excited to expand Climate FRESK workshops across CPS, offering more teams the opportunity to engage with this important topic and contribute to our shared sustainability journey.
