M25 Pavement Community Shortlisted for IAM Team Achievement Award

We’re delighted to announce that Connect Plus and Connect Plus Services, working alongside Tarmac, M Group and Techjoint Limited, have been shortlisted for the Team Achievement Award at the IAM Excellence Awards.

The shortlisted entry recognises the M25 Pavement Community’s transformation of pavement investment planning and delivery across the network. Between 2024 and 2025, the team moved away from traditional condition‑led prioritisation to a value‑optimised, constraint‑aware approach, bringing together high‑quality data, transparent decision‑making and a strong preservation‑first focus.

By integrating AI‑enabled inspections, improved data standards and an optimisation‑led planning model with a re‑engineered delivery approach, the team has enabled earlier maintenance intervention at scale. This has strengthened Totex outcomes, improved governance transparency and supported safe, efficient delivery on a live motorway.

Being shortlisted celebrates the outstanding and exemplary collaborative effort across client, operator and supply chain, and highlights what can be achieved when expertise, innovation and shared purpose are aligned.

Huge congratulations to everyone involved in this project and to all teams recognised in this year’s awards.  We look forward to the next stage of judging!
