Armistice Day 2025
Today we will once again pause at 11am to observe the two-minute silence in honour of Armistice Day; a solemn tradition that unites us in reflection and remembrance.
Armistice Day is not only a time to commemorate the end of the First World War, but also a moment to recognise the courage and sacrifice of all those who have served, and continue to serve, in defence of peace, freedom, and humanity.
Today, we remember:
- The bravery and sacrifice of service personnel past and present.
- The unwavering support of families and emergency services.
- The innocent civilians whose lives have been lost in conflict and acts of terrorism.
We are proud to stand together in remembrance. We take this opportunity to reflect on the freedoms we enjoy, and the sacrifices made to protect them.
Lest we forget.
